A Benedictine monastery does not receive church tax contributions or funding from official church sources. The same applies to government support. We are an independent institution and must generate our own income.

The monastery—its life and its heritage—needs to be financed. We have obligations toward our employees, our partners, as well as toward our buildings and cultural treasures. We carry a great responsibility, and we take it seriously.
