Conferences
As a spiritual center, the Benedictine monastery of Engelberg is available to church groups and institutions. Its venerable rooms have retained an aura of the spiritual life of past centuries. The spiritual atmosphere, steeped in history, inspires creative ideas for training courses, parish weekends and retreats. A contemporary meal plan rounds off one’s stay in the Benedictine monastery of Engelberg.
Food and drink
Whether a small or large group, baptism or confirmation- the Benedictine monastery Engelberg looks forward to booking your request and to being your host. Our kitchen uses regional and fair-trade products and seasonal vegetables from our own monastery garden.
Overnight monastery guests can choose between half-board and full-board. Meals in the guest hall are taken in silence in accordance with Benedictine tradition.
