Musical finest hour with an exceptional talent
“Shmukler is a volcano” and “Ilya Shmukler’s name must be remembered now”, wrote the FAZ after his triumph at the Concours Géza Anda 2024 in Zurich, where he received four other important awards in addition to the first prize.
Experience Ilya Shmukler at Engelberg Monastery at a spontaneous ad hoc concert on Friday, September 5, 2025. The one-hour concert starts at 4.30 pm and takes place in the Baroque Hall. We will open the door from 4.00 pm (entrance to the monastery gate).
