A Warm Welcome to Hansueli Hurschler
Starting in July 2026, Hansueli “Hans” Hurschler will take over as head of the Tagenstal Power Plant, succeeding René Murer.
A native of Engelberg with a federal diploma in electrical installation and safety, he brings many years of experience in project management, electrical infrastructure, and safety inspections. As the former electrical project manager, he successfully led projects in industry, residential construction, the hospitality sector, and photovoltaics. With his professional expertise, his connection to Engelberg, and his enthusiasm for technical innovations, this young family man is well-equipped to help shape the challenges and projects ahead.

a successful start in his new role.
