We congratulate our confrere on his birthday

Today our former Abbot Berchtold / Fr. Berchtold Müller is celebrating his 85th birthday. He headed our Engelberg monastery for 22 years. Before that, he was a teacher of religion and psychology at the secondary school and grammar school.
Together with Fr. Robert Bürcher, the rector of the Stiftsschule at the time, as well as those responsible for the Engelberg Sports Middle School, he was one of the first enthusiasts and supporters of the Sports Middle School.
His tenure as abbot included the renovation of the manor house in Grafenort with its inn.
