18 graduates of the Stiftsschule Engelberg receive their diplomas
Last Saturday, the 2026 Matura class of Stiftsschule Engelberg celebrated their graduation in the Engelberg Abbey Church. The final oral exams had taken place the day before, and in the evening the graduates, teachers and boarding school staff gathered for a celebratory dinner.
18 graduates received their certificates from State Councillor Christian Schäl and Martin Röthlisberger, President of the Matura Examination Board. The event was accompanied by music from Tabea Gerber-Burg on the violin, as well as performances by the class choir and the top student in the class, Luke Brimelow, on the electric guitar. In his speech, class teacher Fabian Herger emphasised the diversity and cohesion of the class, which was characterised by initiative, critical thinking and sociability.
